Doug Brent

Doug Brent is co-chairman of Brent Enterprises LLC, a venture holding company formed with his brother Hollis Brent, owning controlling interests in several portfolio companies. Previously, he served as president & CEO at Bankers Trust (BT) Capital Partners, a U.S. $1.5 billion private equity and venture capital fund with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and San Francisco. He also was a senior managing director and member of Business Council (Expanded Management Committee) at Bankers Trust New York Corporation; an instructor at Cornell University; and worked at KPMG Canada.

He holds an M.B.A. from the Cornell University Johnson School of Management (1986) and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
