A Level Playing Field When Reserving Properties
This is crucially important. We have resisted the temptation to offer a shorter reservation window membership level for a discounted price. We believe this would have the effect of "filling in," albeit closer to a travel date, much of the Club's capacity not yet reserved by the full-paying Members, reducing their ability to take full advantage of their membership. These types of memberships, along with excessive "capped-usage" memberships (ours are strictly limited to 50 active Members), would have the effect of inflating the effective number of Members potentially wanting to use the Club at what are already peak demand times. We prefer for all of our Members to know that they are on a "level playing field" with all other Members when it comes to reserving properties.
In addition we have repackaged our pre-existing group and corporate "capped-usage" offerings to one simple plan: LUSSO 21. This plan still has a limit on property usage and the number of memberships available, similar to our group and corporate offerings, but makes the plan more accessible to a wider audience.
All LUSSO Members continue to enjoy the benefits of being part of a boutique club—a level playing field for reserving properties, highly personalized service, unique amenities, spectacular "cherry-picked" homes and unprecedented availability.
To be sensitive to future LUSSO Members during these challenging economic times, we have decided to postpone our price increase. Effective January 31, LUSSO Unlimited Membership Deposit will increase to $445,000 and Annual Dues will increase to $31,000.
Through DepositTrust™, Members are granted a security interest in all of the Club's real estate, making membership deposits a secured liability of the Club.
